The Holden Astra Sportwagon was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in November 2017. This ANCAP safety rating is based on tests of the Astra hatch conducted by Euro NCAP in 2015 and applies to all Astra Sportwagon variants built from August 2017.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are standard.
