The Lexus CT200h was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in March 2011. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants built from August 2017 and on sale from October 2017 when several safety upgrades were introduced. A 5 star ANCAP safety rating also applies to all previous CT200h variants.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard. Autonomous emegency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are standard.
