The Great Wall Motors Steed was introduced in Australia and New Zealand from September 2016. This ANCAP safety rating applies to 4x2 petrol dual cab variants only. Other variants are unrated.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head-protecting airbags are standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to both front seats. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available.

There are no top tether anchorages for child restraints. This vehicle is not suitable for transporting young children.
