The tested model of Peugeot 508 was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in July 2011. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants (sedan and wagon) and has been updated to list 2016 safety feature information.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available.
