The tested model of Toyota Kluger was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in 2014. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants built from November 2016.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head-protecting airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard. Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Support Systems (LSS) are available on some variants. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to the front and second row seats. Third row seats do not have seat belt reminders but are protected by head-protecting side airbags (curtains).
