The Citroen C3 was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in November 2017. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants.

Dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting (curtain) airbags are standard. Speed sign recognition, lane departure warning (LDW) and a manual speed limiter are fitted as standard.

Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is not available on any Australian C3 models, or New Zealand models built prior to March 2018. AEB is optional on New Zealand models built from March 2018.
