The Farizon SV has been tested as part of ANCAP's Commercial Van Safety Comparison which assesses the fitment and performance of the active (collision avoidance) safety systems fitted to commercial vans.
This assessment is separate to ANCAP’s traditional star rating program. Commercial Van gradings, such as this Platinum grading, focus specifically on the fitment and performance of active collision avoidance (ADAS) features.
The battery electric Farizon SV debuts in ANCAP's Commercial Van Safety Comparison with a PLATINUM grading. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems are standard.
Testing showd the Farizon SV provided GOOD performance in AEB tests with a pedestrian and cyclist, and in tests of its lane support systems. However, a speed control function that can limit the vehicle speed is not fitted to the SV in Australia, contributing to a MARGINAL result for its speed assistance systems.
