The tested model of Fiat 500X was introduced in Australia in December 2015. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants built from July 2016, when rear seat belt reminders became standard.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats from July 2016. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB City & AEB Interurban) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available on the base variant but are optional or standard on higher variants.
