The tested model of Ford EcoSport was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in December 2013. This updated ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants built from October 2017 and on sale from December 2017 in Australia and May 2018 in New Zealand.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head-protecting airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available.
