TESTED 2020

The Ford Transit has been tested as part of ANCAP’s Commercial Van Safety Comparison which assesses the fitment and performance of the active (collision avoidance) safety systems fitted to commercial vans.

Diesel variants of the Ford Transit built from July 2022 come equipped as standard with all assessed active safety systems. Some of these systems performed well in active performance tests, contributing to the Transit’s overall GOLD grading. However, its lane support system was rated as WEAK, and occupant status monitoring rated as MARGINAL.
