The tested model of Holden Astra hatch was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in November 2016. This ANCAP safety rating is based on tests conducted by Euro NCAP and applies to Astra R+, RS and Astra RS-V hatch variants. Astra R hatch variants are unrated.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are standard on R+, RS and RS-V variants.
