2017

The Hyundai i30 wagon was introduced in New Zealand in January 2018. It is not offered in Australia. The ANCAP safety rating for the i30 wagon is based on crash tests of the Hyundai Elantra. ANCAP was provided with technical information which showed that the crash test results of the Elantra apply to the i30 wagon.

This ANCAP safety rating applies to all i30 wagon variants available in New Zealand.

Dual frontal, side chest, side head-protecting (curtain) airbags and a driver knee airbag are standard. Automomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available on the i30 wagon.

A full list of safety features and technologies can be viewed within the Technical Report (see download link).
