The Jeep Renegade was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. This rating is based on tests conducted by Euro NCAP in 2014 and applies to front-wheel-drive Renegade models built from May 2016 when rear seat belt reminders became standard. Other variants are unrated.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard in Australia. There was no knee airbag on the vehicle tested by Euro NCAP however this does not affect the rating. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats.
