The tested model of Jeep Wrangler was introduced in Australia during 2007. This rating applies to the 2 door variant with a 3.6 V6 engine introduced in 2012.
Dual front airbags are standard. Side airbags with chest and head protection for front occupants are optional (these will soon become standard but do not change the ANCAP safety rating). Antilock brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD) and electronic stability control (ESC) are standard. An advanced seat belt reminder is fitted to the driver seat.
