Tested
2016

The tested model of Kia Carnival was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in January 2016. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all Kia Carnival variants built from 23rd December 2015, when several safety-related improvements were introduced.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. The curtain airbags protect all three rows of seats. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) are also standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to both front seats and outboard second-row seats. Several advanced crash avoidance features are available on higher-priced variants.

A full list of safety features and technologies can be viewed within the Technical Report (see download link).
