The Kia Cerato was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in June 2016. This ANCAP safety rating is based on ANCAP tests conducted in 2013 and applies to all hatch variants.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head-protecting airbags (curtains) are standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats.
