The Land Rover Discovery Sport was released in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. This rating applies to all petrol and diesel variants.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags and a driver knee airbag are standard. Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Speed Assist System are also standard along with several other advanced safety features including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB). Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats.
