ANCAP Safety
Tested
2022

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in November 2022. The ANCAP safety rating for the Range Rover Sport is based on testing of its partner model, the Land Rover Range Rover. Additional frontal offset (MPDB) and oblique pole tests were conducted on the Range Rover Sport (PHEV) to confirm the results. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants.

Dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting airbags are standard. A centre airbag to prevent occupant-to-occupant interaction is not available.

Autonomous emergency braking (Car-to-Car, Vulnerable Road User and Junction Assist) as well as a lane support system with lane keep assist (LKA), lane departure warning (LDW) and emergency lane keeping (ELK), and an advanced speed assistance system (SAS) are standard on all variants.

A full list of safety features and technologies can be viewed within the Technical Report (see download link).
