The tested model of Lexus NX was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in October 2014.
Dual frontal, side chest, side head-protecting (curtain) and driver knee airbags are standard. Antilock brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD) and electronic stability control (ESC) are also standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats.
Several advanced safety assist features are not available on the base variant but are standard on higher variants.
