This model Mazda 3 was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in August 2016 (built from May 2016). This ANCAP safety rating is based on Euro NCAP tests in 2014 and applies to all hatch variants.
Dual frontal, side-protecting chest and side head-protecting airbags (curtains) are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (City and Vulnerable Road User) is standard on all variants. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats.
