ANCAP Safety Rating
Rating Expires

The ANCAP safety rating for the Mercedes Benz EQB is based on testing of its partner model, the Mercedes Benz GLB, conducted in 2019. ANCAP was provided with technical information, and some additional tests were performed on the EQB, to show that the test results of the GLB also apply to the EQB. This ANCAP safety rating applies to EQB 250 variants only.
Dual frontal airbags, side chest-protecting airbags for both the first and second row outboard seating positions, side head-protecting airbags (curtains) for all seating rows, and a driver knee airbag are standard.
Autonomous emergency braking (City, Interurban and Vulnerable Road User) as well as lane keep assist (LKA) with lane departure warning (LDW) and blind spot monitor (BSM) are standard.
A full list of safety features and technologies can be viewed within the Technical Report (see download link).
