The Mercedes-Benz Vito has been tested as part of ANCAP’s Commercial Van Safety Comparison which assesses the fitment and performance of the active (collision avoidance) safety systems fitted to commercial vans.
The Mercedes-Benz Vito and eVito, available from July 2024, come equipped with the same advanced safety technology as standard. The MY24 Vito demonstrated a significant improvement on earlier models, earning a PLATINUM grading compared to its previous collision avoidance grading of GOLD.
While it received an ADEQUATE score for autonomous emergency braking in cyclist scenarios, the Vito performed strongly across all other categories, showcasing its overall collision avoidance capability.
