The tested model of Mini Countryman was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in March 2017. This ANCAP safety rating applies to Cooper D variants only.

Dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting (curtain) airbags are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and a manual set speed limiter are standard. A lane support system is not fitted.
