2015

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was first released in Australia and New Zealand in December 2015. The Pajero Sport was upgraded in January 2020 (MY20). Corresponding safety specification information is listed on page 2 of the ANCAP Technical Report.

This ANCAP safety rating is based on ANCAP tests conducted in 2015 on the Mitsubishi Triton utility - on which the Pajero Sport is based - and applies to all Pajero Sport variants.

Dual frontal, side chest, driver knee and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), are also standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection is available as standard from MY18 onwards.

A full list of safety features and technologies can be viewed within the Technical Report (see download link).
