The tested model of Nissan Qashqai was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in July 2014. This updated ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants built from September 2017 and on sale from December 2017.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head-protecting airbags (curtains) are standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is standard (City & Interurban). Lane support systems (LSS) are available on some variants.
