The tested model of Peugeot 3008 was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in mid-2017. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants including the PHEV.

Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) are standard. A lane departure warning (LDW) system and an advanced speed assistance system (SAS) are fitted as standard. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and active lane keep assistance (LKA) is available on some higher-end variants and standard on vehicles built from January 2018.
