The Peugeot Expert has been tested as part of ANCAP’s Commercial Van Safety Comparison which assesses the fitment and performance of the active (collision avoidance) safety systems fitted to commercial vans.
Peugeot Expert vehicles built from October 2024 offer an increased level of safety specification and performance in comparison to earlier Expert models.
Performance testing of the Peugeot Expert’s lane support, speed assistance, and occupant status monitoring systems showed good results – contributing to its overall GOLD level of collision avoidance performance.
The Expert performed well in autonomous emergency braking (AEB) car-to-car stationary and moving scenarios, as well as some pedestrian and cyclist scenarios. The Expert could improve its score further with the addition of AEB Junction and AEB Crossing, and the ability to respond to pedestrians in reverse (AEB Backover).
