The Skoda Octavia was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in April 2021. Updates were introduced for vehicles built from July 2025 on sale from March 2026, and this ANCAP safety rating applies to all vehicles built from July 2025 and on sale from March 2026 (sedan VIN TMBBV0NX0TM****** onwards and wagon VIN TMBKV0NX6TY****** onwards).
This ANCAP safety rating for the Skoda Octavia is based on testing of the Skoda Octavia conducted in 2019, 2022, and 2025. Separate ANCAP safety ratings apply to Skoda Octavia vehicles built prior to July 2025.
Dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting airbags, as well as a driver knee airbag are standard. A centre airbag, which provides added protection to front seat occupants in side impact crashes, is also standard.
Autonomous emergency braking (Car-to-Car, Vulnerable Road User, Junction & Crossing, Backover and Head-On) as well as a lane support system with lane keep assist (LKA), lane departure warning (LDW) and emergency lane keeping (ELK), and a speed assist system (SAS) with a speed sign recognition system are standard on all variants.
