The tested model of Suzuki Splash was introduced in New Zealand during 2011. This model is not on sale in Australia.
The left-hand-drive European model was tested by Euro NCAP. Australasian specifications may vary and therefore models sold in Australasia might provide different levels of protection to those described on this page.
Dual front airbags, side airbags and head-protecting side curtains are standard equipment in New Zealand. Antilock brakes (ABS) and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) are also standard. Electronic stability control (ESC) became standard on all variants from May 2012. An intelligent seat belt reminders is fitted to the driver seat. Pretensioners are fitted to the front seat belts to reduce slack in the event of a crash.
